Dean of the College of Education,
National Chengchi University
National Chengchi University invites applications and nominations for the position of the Dean of the College of Education. The Dean is the chief academic and administrative officer of the College and reports to the President. The starting date of the appointment is August 1, 2026. The initial appointment will be 3 years and with a renewable second term.
The College of Education was established in 2002, with the mission of nurturing the nation’s educators, academic leaders and researchers; at the same time providing them opportunities with on-the-job training for the purpose of enhancing the quality of education. The College is comprised of Department of Education, Graduate Institute of Early Childhood Education, Graduate Institute of Educational Administration and Policy, MA Program in Counseling and Guidance, Master of Education in School Administration, Teacher Education Program, and Teacher In-Service Education Center. With more than 25 full-time faculty members and 500 enrolled students, it upholds a mission to promote academic advancement by integrated educational research through intercollegiate and interdisciplinary cooperation and internationalization.

Term Duration
The initial appointment starts from August 1, 2026 for a period of three year and with one more consecutive term.
Qualification to the Position
Professors from domestic and foreign universities who:
Possessing academic leadership, administrative abilities, a strong sense of service, and high moral character; and having academic achievements and a good reputation, and academic expertise aligns with the Faculty of Education.
How to Apply
Becoming a Dean
The final candidate, to be determined by the President, needs to be a full professor of NCCU or, if not, needs to be recruited as a full professor by NCCU before his/her inauguration of the Dean.
