The "Journal of Education & Psychology" is an academic publication printed by the College of Education at National Chengchi University. It was established in May 1978 and changed its publication frequency over the years. In 1997, it became a semi-annual publication, and in 2003, it transitioned to a quarterly journal. Each year, it releases one volume consisting of four issues, published in March, June, September, and December.
The journal seeks research papers from scholars and experts both domestically and internationally. It provides a platform for the professional dissemination of academic research in the fields of education and psychology. Through the publication of scholarly papers, its aim is to enhance the academic culture surrounding education and psychology in the country.
Since 1997, the journal has been included in the "Taiwan Social Science Citation Index" (TSSCI) list by the National Science and Technology Council(NSTC). It holds the highest rating of a first-tier core journal in the NSTC's academic evaluation. The journal has been striving towards internationalization efforts. Starting in 2012, it has included English abstracts and references (translations of Chinese references into English), as well as an English website. It also maintains its dedicated website and is indexed in international databases such as Scopus, ProQuest Education Journals, and the "Chinese Social Science Citation Index" at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. In addition, it is included in domestic databases like the Higher Education Knowledge Base.
In 2019, the journal received the 5th place in the "Taiwan Academic Resources Impact" Knowledge Communication Award in the field of education.
